Spring Brake: Part Two

And my timely updates keep on coming.

It has been almost 2 years since my first Journal. It is kinda weird to think about it. Not important, though. Recently, my girlfriend has been harder and harder to talk to. Navy stuff and all that. I really miss her. We got together on around New Years and just spent most of the time together. There was a group thing we did with a few friends New Years Eve, but that fell through. Accursed drinking age locking out all underagers!

Outside of that, I am halfway through the 2nd Semester. Doing a little worse this year. Essay weight and all that. I finally got a new roommate, and he is awesome. He is a fighting gamer, and he is pretty decent at Guilty Gear, so that works out. He is also a music major, which is interesting. Plays French Horn, just like my father. Freud would have a few questions. He would have to wait till night, though, the day is still Jung.

Also, I am going up to my family to Spring Break! Woo!

Ick. Well, I haven't been Final Fantasying myself much at all these days. I've preferred most of my gaming with MUCKs and MUSHes, along with a little bit of Gunbound and Wizardry 8.
Gunbound ? hehe i,ve played that a long time ago and I was bad haha, now Im more in survival horror, like SH or RE but its okay n_n

I enjoy survival horrors, especially the bite-down hard ones.

Say, have you ever heard of Siren?
mmm it sounds to me , but i havent played it , its where you are a man and starts in a hospital or something like army?

The way I see the Silent Hill games usually is based on odds and evens.

The odd ones (1 & 3) directly involve the place, and seem to be a little less... surreal.

The even ones are more like a pun (Silent Hell). 2 & 4 have a lot of navel-gazing weirdness in them.

I haven't messed with Five at all, mostly because of the current game systems I have. What is it like?
Nah, it is closer to the SH model. It was made by the same crowd behind Silent Hill, so that isn't a surprise. It is one of those... multiple characters, each with their own story in a really creepy place.

Kinda like Silent Hill 2, but more complex and non-linear.
